The Grand Blanc Arts Council is happy to announce the winners of this year's "Virtual" Scholarship Program. $1000 was awarded for 1st place to Abbie Alterman, $500 for 2nd place to Julia Groves, and $250 for 3rd place to Elise Perkins.
To compete, Seniors submitted 3-5 pieces of artwork in any medium, along with an Artist Statement. A panel of judges evaluated the student’s entire body of work, based on creativity and originality, effective use of the medium, and skillful techniques. Scholarship money is paid directly to the student’s college.
1st Place: Abbie Alterman $1000.00
2nd Place: Julia Groves $500.00
3rd Place: Elise Perkins $250.00
